Our client is looking for a Senior Data Engineer in our Chicago office. In this role, you will be a part of a team responsible for building and maintaining new and existing systems for data extraction, transformation, and ML signals research.
The systems you could work on include:
- Real-time data ingestion systems necessary for our production trading systems
- Data processing and extraction tools and frameworks, such as our company-wide data lake
- Signals research tools and frameworks
- Data quality validation and monitoring
Experience:
- 10+ years of full time software development experience with Python. Experience with Java or C++ is a plus.
- 3+ years of experience working on real time systems with production support responsibilities
- A history of building software effectively, using automated tests
- Experience in finance is beneficial, but not required
